Saudi Royal Yacht Was Really Saddam's Ship

It turns out a yacht we posted about a few weeks ago as having once been the Saudi Arabian Royal Yacht Al Yamamah, was in fact the property of Saddam Hussein. The yacht, which Saddam called Qadissiyat Saddam, has since been renamed Ocean Breeze and is currently on the market for $34,450,000.

When the yacht was built, all of the workers involved were sworn to secrecy, signing gagging orders.

Many suspect that Saddam, who had close links with the Saudi regime, kept Qadissiyat Saddam in Saudi Arabia for safety, in case anything happened to its sister yacht.

The 269-foot yacht has room for 28 guests and is decorated with mahogany, gold, silver and marble.
